Titleist Golf Performance

Services & Specialties

The effects of an injury can be detrimental to your golf swing and overall performance. Golfers commonly suffer from low back, shoulder, or elbow pain.  These repetitive stress injuries develop as the body compensates in the golf swing from underlying physical limitations.  If you are experiencing pain or recovering from surgery, illness, or injury then working with a physical therapist that is specially trained to work with golfers can help you become pain free AND improve your sports performance.

We use Titleist Performance Institute methodology to determine specific areas of physical impairment that may affect your ability to maintain or perform golf specific motions and patterns required for proper swing mechanics.  Titleist Performance Institute is revolutionary in its state-of-the-art research that correlates deficits in stability or mobility directly to the most common swing faults.  Golfer’s will be scored on flexibility, strength, rotational core power, and balance.  Incorporating golf specific patterns in your physical therapy program will ensure the best results for improving your overall golf game and preventing injury.

You will be working with a Physical Therapist that is a Titleist Certified Golf Fitness Instructor.  Each golfer's personalized physical therapy program will consist of research based corrective exercises that focus on addressing their specific needs as determined through the functional assessment.   Golf specific exercises can improve rotational strength, swing consistency, and accuracy.  You will also learn spine protection techniques for lifting, bending, and maintaining safe posture on and off the golf course.
